Training Timetable

BOSS is currently in the midst of its 2017 winter duathlon training at West Moreton Anglican College.


The 2017/2018 Summer season will commence in conjunction with the September School Holidays in time for the Annual BOSS triathlon training camp.

  • Bring goggles, togs, t shirt, shorts, running shoes, hat, water bottle, towel and bike when requested with helmet. Also a happy face!!!


  • BOSS multisport is very much a family environment and invites all parents to come along and be involved as much or as little as they like!


  • Don't forget to bring a dry set of clothes for after training.

Swim

Swimming sessions are based at Bundamba Swim Centre. Which utilises a 50m and 20m pool. Faciltities also include a gym, playground, BBQ equipment and close access to bikeways. The centre also offers learn2swim, junior and senior swim squads, group fitness, aqua aerobics and massage therapy.

Bike

For any parent, the safety of their child is paramount. All juniors are assessed by ability and skillset before venturing onto bikepaths and cycle lanes.

Juniors are taught safe braking, indicating, overtaking, signalling, drinking, changing gears, avoiding hazards, u-turns, mounting and dismounting at speed.

Older athletes will work on increasing aerobic fitness, speed, power and working towards draft-legal racing.

Run

Anyone can run, but not everyone enjoys running. This is where game based fitness really motivates the young athletes to utilise speed, agility and endurance.

Brick Sessions

Fun, educational and rewarding triathlon sessions are designed to cover all aspects of the triathlon. Swim, Bike and run combinations incorporating transitions from each included
